Northwest Science are working together to build something special in science, and because we are working together, we will compete internationally.
The second Northwest Science
Strategy, developed by the Northwest Science Council, which brings
together businesses, universities and other science partners in the
region to ensure the region competes internationally and enjoys the
benefits of a world-class science sector, was launched on 17th
April 2007 by the Northwest Science Council and NWDA at
AstraZeneca, Cheshire.
The Rt. Hon Alistair Darling MP provided a Government perspective on the science agenda and Dr Edward de Bono closed the launch event with a keynote speech on intelligent thinking.
The new strategy is available to the right of this page; there is also a summary version to download.
